I Have A Dream...

Freud would have a field day with me, and the dreams I dream at night. Some of them are downright frightening. I think I might be a Prophet or something.

Last night, I had another one of my crazy dreams. I dreamt that as I was walking around minding my own business, my sinuses and throat filled up with mucus. I was coughing it up all over the place, but I just couldn't get rid of it. Every time I had a brief respite, I filled up again. Eventually my lungs and ears filled up with it; I was choking on my own mucus. I think I even eventually died (which is not the first time that's happened in a dream).

My brain is pretty messed up...

A little ditty...

Sittin' in my car,
Outside IBM,
Gonna be a boring day.

Thinkin' fat rhymes,
While I'm staring at dimes,
Showin' off the T 'n' A.

Blogging from my phone...

I think I'm going to love blogging from my Motorola Q. Although, it's probably going to lead to some blogs about crap I shouldn't talk about. Oh well, such is the nature of technology. It shortens the distance between people, no matter how far they are apart, and gives everyone a voice on any topic... even topics they should probably keep quiet.

Another late night...

Here I am again, lying here in bed, trying fruitlessly to get to sleep. I don't know why in the hell insomnia strikes me sometimes like this, but when it does, it hits like a mother (and mine happens to be a bitch). So, I decided to try and post to my blog from my new Motorola Q.

I hate the fact sometimes that I have such a strained relationship with my mom. I wish to God that things weren't so messed up between us. Oh well, that's the way it is when one side refuses to acknowledge the fact that the other isn't a 12 year old boy that they can boss around anymore.

It's very sad to me that things can't be better. Oh well, that's how life is sometimes. You just have to play with the hand that was dealt ya.

It was bound to happen...

I wish I could have called this, and I vary easily could have, but it seems like the movie Blindness has certain people in an uproar. Those people, of course, are the blind (Link to io9 article). It amazes me at how easily some people can get their panties in a wad over something this trivial; a group of people, who I might add, are obviously not the target demographic, seeing as how they can't see the movie anyway. Blindness advocates are upset that the movie portrays the victims of the epidemic (that causes people to go blind) as monsters to be herded around, which sounds like a valid argument, until you rub a few brain cells together. Let's see... a sudden epidemic that strikes for no explainable reason... no one knows what caused it and if it's contagious... I know I would herd thim up and quarantine them, until someone actually figures out what's going on.

People fail on so many levels.
